Why we have so many blessings

I found this on the CMOMS web site and I just had to post it because it explains how Jon and I feel about having children and she explains it way better than I could. I know It is long but if you have the time PLEASE read it, especially those of you who do not understand why we have so many "blessings" The blog is also scrunching all my sentences together and I haven't figured out why, so bear with me. When Your Quiver OverflowsStacy McDonaldGrowing up in the 60’s and 70’s I was in the midst of a world that was changing rapidly. No longer was it the norm for a mother to happily stay home with her babies. Although it was not as prevalent as it is today, there were many career moms in our neighborhood. There would be several day care buses lined up outside of our elementary school ready to pick up the children whose mothers were at work. Many women were choosing to limit the number of children they had to pursue careers. Some chose not to have any at all…or at least "

The news for this week is that on Friday I will be going to the doctors and they will be doing an ultrasound to determine the weight of the baby. This can determine a pound plus or minus so in other words if it says the baby weight is 9# then it could be the baby is 8, 9 or 10 pounds. The specialist told me that if there is a chance that the baby is 10#'s or more than it will be an automatic c-section for me. I do not want a c-section so please pray that when they weigh the baby this Friday that she will be 8#'s or less. They will also do an amnio to see if her lungs are developed because I will be 37 weeks. A lot is in the air but I do have my baby shower this Saturday and I would like to be at it. I am trying real hard to just give it all over to the Lord, I know He is in control! PTL Family wise we are all doing well, we are feeling cabin fever right now since it is any where from 105-112 outside so we don't go out unless we are going to swim or get into our air conditio

We have been blessed to be in a wonderful Church in Trona , CA. Which happens to be just outside of death valley. We have enjoyed good fellowship with our friends the Sikeles and met some new friends, Pastor and Mrs. Cox. The kids also had a great time getting to know some new friends. It has been nice to meet people who are not afraid to feed a family of 9, you don't find too many people that want to invite you over when you have 7 children, but they have made sure to feed us for every meal while we have been hear, What a blessing!! This is our last meeting until the baby is born, I have pictures but Jon took our camera with him, He is out in a Jeep 4 wheeling in death valley. I will post those later. We also had a great time at our Church on the 4 th , it is great to have fellowship with friends, th
