Death Valley In July

For starters I am having problems with the blog putting all my paragraphs together, I have no Idea why, but that is why every thing has been run together!
Hello from Trona, CA. We have been blessed to be in a wonderful Church in Trona, CA. Which happens to be just outside of death valley. We have enjoyed good fellowship with our friends the Sikeles and met some new friends, Pastor and Mrs. Cox. The kids also had a great time getting to know some new friends. It has been nice to meet people who are not afraid to feed a family of 9, you don't find too many people that want to invite you over when you have 7 children, but they have made sure to feed us for every meal while we have been hear, What a blessing!!
This is our last meeting until the baby is born, I have pictures but Jon took our camera with him, He is out in a Jeep 4 wheeling in death valley. I will post those later.

We also had a great time at our Church on the 4th, it is great to have fellowship with friends, this is something that can be hard when you are out on the rode. You miss just talking with people you know.
We have been blessed to hear some great preaching this week also, starting with our own Pastor and then ending with Bro. Sikele this Sunday. He has such a sweet attitude even though circumstances have been so hard for Him and his family, you can see the grace of God on their lives. For those of you who don't who he is, he is a missionary to Fiji and had to come back to the states b/c the Kidney transplant that he had, did not take so now he is on dialysis again and is awaiting and praying for a new donor. Amy his wife is Bill Dardens sister. Please keep them in your prayers!

Really though, I am glad to hear of the Lord's faithfulness and that you enjoyed good preaching and fellowship. We love the Sikeles too and I'm thankful you were able to spend time with them.

MIA JOY KNOUF 1 year old

Our Precious “Joy Girl” One Year ago, we had the privilege and honor to welcome yet another of God’s special blessings into our lives and home. Mia Joy Knouf has been such a “Joy” to our family and it has been so much fun seeing all the changes she has gone through this past year. It is hard to believe that I had such a hard time nursing her and now would you believe that is about all she wants, no pacifier or bottle! (that is kind of rough on Mom) We were also concerned about her weight and now we are calling her “chubby” ;0) God is so good! It is amazing how much a child learns in the first year of life, she is right on the verge of walking, she has taken a couple steps, She stands up in the middle of the floor while holding her baby doll but seems to be content with that. Speaking of Baby Dolls she is ALL girl, She loves them! But then she also likes to wrestle with Logan and Levi and they love it too! Knouf Family Christmas Newsletter November 22, 2017 God has been so good to our family! It has been a long time! Traditionally, I use to write a Christmas letter, however I have failed to do so for a few years now. Part of the reason has been the change of how social media seems to keep us all connected more than ever. Truthfully the main reason has been that I have been too busy to even take time to write such a letter. Rewind back to 2014, Jon and I were going through a time of soul searching with our finances.
