Hunter vs. Animal Activist

Ok it is not good to have a hunter living in the same house as an Animal Activist! Today we found a channel on our T.V. this is a rare thing so we were watching what was on, and of all things to be on, HUNTING, yes it was all about a guy hunting for a bear. This was the dialogue that I heard while the show was on:
Noah: "Oh wow, I hope a bear comes, I want to see him kill a bear"
Hailey: "No, I hope a bear does not come, is he really going to shoot a poor bear?"
Noah: "Yes, He is going to shoot it, and I want to see it, I can't wait"
Hailey: "You shouldn't want to see a poor animal die"
Noah: "Oh look here comes a bear, shoot it, shoot it, shoot it!"
Hailey: "No don't shoot it, I can't look, is he shooting it, Mom is he shooting it?"
Noah: "Oh ya, he got it, Oh that is sooooo cool, I can't wait to go hunting with Grandpa!"
Hailey: "Oh no it's suffering, mom why are they letting it suffer, oh this is so sad, Noah you are bad, you should not want animals to die"
Noah: "Oh, ya I'm a hunter and I am going to kill an animal and I am going to keep its head and I will eat the meat!"
Hailey: "Noah I care about animals as much as I do people!"
Ok so this is where I stepped in and explained to my animal activist daughter that PEOPLE are way more important than animals, not to mention you eat animal every day of your life!
Hailey: "well I still love animals and I even love bugs, I don't want Noah stepping on ants and stuff, it makes me cry!"
Noah:" I step on ants cuz I know they can hurt Levi, He could die Hailey!"
A few minutes passed and a spider was crawling on a chair next to Hailey, when I saw it and yelled SPIDER she jumped from where she was and did not cry when I killed it, I asked her why she didn't care for that poor little spider, she didn't have an answer, I think maybe God had a lesson for her to learn :-)
