The Big Day

Can I tell you that relief doesn't even describe how I feel right now? Oh Ya, I am so happy to have My Parents Big 40th Anniversary behind me, I know that sounds rude BUT I can't tell you how STRESSED I have been about the whole thing. Everything went well, I wish more people would have come, but what can you do about that?? So putting that aside I am happy about how it all went. I had a wonderful Lady from my parents church come and I helped her decorate, it went fast and easy, that is always nice :)

Then after we (me and my kids) decorated, we headed for a time of relaxation ~lol~ Not really, I wanted to let the kids have some fun since I have been so stressed lately so we headed for Chuck-E-Cheese ~GREAT BIG GRIN~ Actually they all had their own money so they paid for it, that is always nice. They had a fun time and I enjoyed it also, it was nice to just get away for a little while. My dear husband went with my dad to a men's retreat but they ended up not finding the right camp soooooo they made a 2hr drive for nothing and then had to drive right back, come to find out, they were just down the road but they had no Idea, bummer!

Mackenzie is in charge of my Camera most of the time now, So most of these pics are because I have another blogger in the Fam and I get to use them cuz hey it is my camera. ;) Are you all Jealous or what? *grin*

Levi, the 4yr old, was so funny, He wanted to have all his tokens in his pocket and he did not want any one to go with him, he went to all the rides and games by himself, and boy was he proud of himself, I enjoyed watching him (from a distance of course) !

Mackenzie and Justina had a good time even though they are teens they still enjoy Chuck~E~Cheese, and I am glad, It is always nice when the whole family can go somewhere and enjoy it together, I know some kids grow up toooooooo fast. We have been talking A lot lately about how we really don't have too many more years to enjoy everyone being at home, so we need to REALLY enjoy it while we have the opportunities, it makes them sad but at least they are sad and not happy about the thought of moving out of this caotic Family. :)

Mia enjoyed herself, she had 2 blow outs while we were there, One day I will have to do a Post about some of the blow outs that I have had to deal with. I think I have most of you moms topped, but if you THINK you have me topped then tell me your story :-) But that is a whole new story so we won't go there. Now it is time to get to the Party. We had food to start, then we had a little program with some testimonies and poems and songs and a slide show and then cake and present opening. Matt was the one in charge of keeping everything rolling and the schedule so that was nice, He did a great job!

After 40 years they were still nice to each other and did not get cake on each other, NOW THAT IS LOVE ~grin~ People seemed to enjoy the whole thing, most important was that my Parents seemed to enjoy it! They deserve to be honored and I am so very proud to say that they are MY PARENTS! I Love Them Dearly!

Having this many kids to stand still while we take numerous pics with three different cameras was a feat in itself, but hey now I have a group Photo for their 50th Wedding Anniversary Slide Show :-}

I am sorry that I didn't get pics of everyone that was there but I didn't even have time to take Pics but here are some that we were able to get. I am also sure that Sileena will have some good Pics too so visit her blog

BUT give her time, she IS on vacation :-) Speaking of Sileena, I will end this Post with pics of my beautiful nieces, Aren't they just adorable?

Can you believe I was almost done with this Post and something went haywire with my computer and I had to shut it down before I could save or Publish this post? PTL it had saved almost all of it so I only had to rewrite my last line~huge sigh of relief~ It is way too late and I need to be in bed, goodnight friends!
