Well I meant to write last week but it was crazy last week! We had so many appt.! We all had our eyes checked, Jon, Nolan and I need glasses on a part time basis, but Hailey needs glasses all the time, thankfully she is very excited! Mackenzie down to Noah went to the dentist, and Hailey, Levi and Logan had their physicals, and I also went in for a check up and to top it off, it was my birthday:-) So hopefully you can see why I am just now getting around to blogging. The title of this blog is Levi, that is b/c I have some stories to tell about him:-) Last week we were at Calvary Baptist Church of Simi Valley, when we got to the church the Pastor was showing us in the church and Levi saw our poster on the wall and said "hey look there's the family singers!" But the topper was when we were singing a song and he was on the front row, He began singing the song at the top of his lungs it was all Jon and I and the rest of the gang could do to get through the song without laughi...

Being a singer is lots of fun, a singer for the Lord that is. Even though it's sometimes hard living in a trailer with six brothers and sisters, It's still cool to see new people and places. We also don't always get the same remarks, like good job. And if you were in the ministry or if you already are you would know there isn't always smiling faces. But I still don't regret singing, it gives me joy serving God and its worth it all. It was also hard saying goodbye to my old life and house;especially since I get home sick a lot. Still it's worth It all.Well that's about it, thank you.

I wonder if they put us in the wild animal cage on purpose? One BIG happy family Logan enjoying his new boat!

Whatz been up with us

Well since my last post we have celebrated 4 birthdays in the Knouf Family. Noah Jan 30Th, Jon Feb. 7Th and we lumped Levi and Logan together on the 1st of March since they are only 2years and 4 days apart. Now Levi has planned his party since Noah had his birthday. He began telling me that he was going to go to chuck e cheese and he was gonna have a sponge bob cake and he was gonna play on the car and he was gonna get a toy car and a will turner action figure for his birthday. Now, he came up with that all on his own, so what kind of party do you suppose he had? Scroll down to see the pictures:-) Logan on the other hand had only one wish, He wanted a boat, he is really into boats right now, so when he got his boat he carried it around showing everyone his boat. Levi was singing with us this past Sunday and in between songs he wanted to ask me something, so I bent over to see what he wanted and he said "Mom, um can I um have waffles when I wake up?" Needless to say they come ...

The Doctor Is In

Hello from the Knouf Family Infirmary, In the history of being a mother I have never had to take care of SEVEN sick children at the same time! I feel Like a pharmacist with all the medication I am giving out! Thankfully everyone seems to be on the mend. I talked to my mom on Sat. she told me that the Zicam is working better than the flu shot in Washington, she also told me that 3 small children have died from having so much mucus built up in their chest. Musinex has helped with that but boy they have really been sick! Now, Mom has it, but hopefully I will not get it as bad as they did. Dad has not yet got any of the sickness that we have been dealing with, I think he is the carrier :-) Praise the Lord we did get the Medical, So the whole family is covered, that is a huge answer to our Prayers. We have been in some good churches, it is so nice when they see what our ministry is all about, the Lord has been so good to us, We really enjoy what we do. He is still working on us though,...

The Big Kids

Image
In our family we have the "big kids" and the "little kids" Lately it is so hard to get the "big kids" to want to even take a picture with each other, so I captured the moment. I think Nolan was a little on the weak side b/c we were singing this day and he turned as white as a sheet, we were just about to sing a song that he has a solo in. He turned around and looked at me, I saw how white he was and told him to go sit down, We sang a different song and then I went down to him, we still don't know what happened, he was fine later on when I took this picture.

All I want for Christmas

Image
Noah wants his two front teeth! Yes, Noah has lost his two front teeth so we have been having a good time singing that good old song to him, All I want for Christmas is my two front Teeth . He is growing up so fast. He tells me that when he was a little kid he used to think about dumb things but now that he is so old he doesn't. I leaned over when we were singing in a church about a month ago to tell him to be ready for his part that was coming up and he looks back at me and says in a loud voice, "I know you always tell me that" I could have died!

Blessed Thanksgiving

Image
Thanksgiving Feast Thanksgiving was good but not the same without all the family being together! But from what I hear they had a great time without us, down in good old warm California! My Mom did a great job cooking up a great meal, it was a relaxing day but it went by too fast! I think we need to start having holidays that last for two days. My problem is I have to work on Thanksgiving, by the time I help cook and do the dishes and then most important go through all my ads to see what time and what merchandise I am going to get up at 3a.m. on Friday to go buy, by this time I have to get to bed for the best shopping day of the year! :-) I don't know about you, but I love the day after Thanksgiving. This year was crazy being in Washington where it is freezing and a ton more people trying to shop in the same stores, I sure do miss our valley! This year Mackenzie went with me and my mom and my brother Steven. Yes, I said my brother Steven, he loves seeing all the good deals that I c...

Time for An Update

OK, So we left Colville, Wa. and headed to Harrah, Wa. which is by Yakima. We had the privilege of singing in Lower Valley Baptist Indian Church. We were there for their Sunday services, I actually did a gospel effect both in Colville and in Harrah, Thank You Pastor! Nolan was jealous cuz he wants to be the one to do them. The Indian church brings in about 60-70 kids on the buses, we ministered to them as well as the adults that were there. We headed back for Roy right away, We have been gone from this area for about 2 months. We were excited about getting here to be with Grandma and Grandpa and having a Great Thanks giving. What we didn't know is that they are having a revival meeting and we are singing in it! It will end on Wed. This is a picture of us singing tonite. We are so excited about all the opportunities the Lord has opened up for us. We got a call today from another Pastor that wants us to come this Sunday, it is another Indian Church~PTL We have been praying tha...

This is Our Home on Wheels

This is our Home, it is a 32ft. trailer with a slide out. We have bunks in the back, and a Queen bedroom up front. Our Excursion has a rear facing seat in the back, so it is an 11 passenger vehicle. Life is such an adventure, and now more than ever!

Hi, My name is Pamela. I travel full time with my husband and seven children. We sing as a family. We started in this ministry in August full time. Let me tell you about my life prior to this. I was born in , Ca. At a very young age. :-) My parents are James and Carol . I have two brothers. I have six beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews, from my brothers. My sister-n-law is a good friend as well as a good wife to my brother. I received Christ as my savior when I was 12yrs old, I was baptized in my fathers church, Bible Baptist Church. I grew up as a PK(Preachers Kid) Yes at times it was hard to live up to the expectations of the church members. Thank the Lord I had parents that put our family before the ministry. I am so thankful for parents that Love me and raised me up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I committed my Life to the Lord as a teenager, I praise the Lord, not myself, that I can say that I have never tried drugs, cigarettes, or any kind of alcoholic beverage...
