Back in the groove

Well hello to all, just wanted to let you know that we made it safe and sound to Washington. We had the privilege of being with Calvary Baptist Church in Roy, WA Grandma and Grandpa's church :-) And Grandpa had us sing in the A.M. and P.M. service so we moved into our schedule just a little earlier than what we thought. PTL We were a little rusty but we made it through. Our trip up was good, we went to Yosemite it was our first visit there, I will post pics of that a little later. I am kind of in a hurry today because we are meeting up with our friends, The Sundquists, they have seven children and just told me that they are now expecting their 8Th, personally I think they are trying to keep up with us, JUST JOKING :-) Any how we are going to my FAVORITE place to eat, godfathers pizza. yum
Mia is officially one month old! She has been such a Joy to have , we seem to be adjusting to eight Knouf's better than we did with seven. Of course it helps that she is such a good baby, that is an answer to prayer. I have seen that my whole nursing problem has been of the Lord, even though I want to nurse her. The Lord has shown me that I am going to have to have a different approach, b/c of being so busy it does help at times that she takes a bottle, though it pains me to say that! I am pumping so she ALWAYS gets breast milk so for her it is all good. PTL she is latching on at least a couple times a day some times more. I feel like a first time mom with all the problems I have been having nursing you would not think that I have done this seven times before! I feel a little stupid when I call the lactation specialist but oh, well, it keeps me humble :-)
Mackenzie is officially 15 yesterday, I am sure for her it was kind of a boring birthday, but she had her big bang early. Speaking of teens, we are learning the wonderful world of dealing with the whole girl boy relationships and so now I feel like I am burning the light at both ends trying to watch the toddlers from getting into trouble and now I have to REALLY keep a good eye on my teens, I am feeling exhausted :-}
School starts on Wednesday, I am feeling a little stressed about that, so if you think about it, please pray for me. I am going to attempt to teach both Noah and Levi to read this year, and I need to start potty training Logan so my cup is full and running over :-) I have offered to pay 20.00 to the kid that can potty train him, Justina potty trained Levi, but so far no one has taken me up on the offer :-) I guess $20 bucks is not much money these days, lol
Well with that I have to go, Have a Great LABOR DAY!!!

Glad to hear you guys made it to WA safely. And I will pray for you on Wed. when you start school--you are right, you have your hands full for sure! And yeah, the teens years *are* stressful--but they are wonderful at the same time! Blessings to you! : )
